Resumen

In January 2020, the Swiss Cancer Registration Act (CRA) came into force, making cancer notification mandatory and standardizing cancer registration processes nationwide. Following the CRA, the respective responsibilities of the regional adult cancer registries and the Childhood Cancer Registry (ChCR) were clarified, strengthening collaboration and ensuring reliable forwarding of cases in patients under 20 to the ChCR. Consequently, the number of registered cases has increased, particularly for adolescents.
