Abstract

Objective: To systematically review the risk prediction models for oral frailty in the elderly. Methods: A search strategy will be developed and implemented to review literature across PubMed, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library, China Knowledge Resource Integrated Database (CNKI), Wanfang Data, Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM), and Weipu Database (VIP). Studies developing the risk-predicting models for oral frailty among older adults will be included. This study will follow the PCC framework (Population, Concept, Context), and extract data using the Critical Appraisal and Data Extraction for Systematic Reviews of Prediction Modelling Studies (CHARMS) checklist. The risk of bias and applicability of the included studies will be assessed using the Prediction Model Risk of Bias Assessment Tool (PROBAST).
