Abstract

Modern economic realities are characterized by a fundamental transformation of approaches to assessing the competitiveness of trade organizations, driven by intensifying competitive struggle in the Russian market, digitalization of business processes, and changes in consumer preferences amid macroeconomic instability. The study systematizes and critically analyzes modern methods of assessing trade competitiveness through the prism of integrating quantitative and qualitative performance indicators. A comprehensive six-stage methodology for assessing automobile trade competitiveness has been developed, demonstrating a multi-level architecture of interaction between quantitative and qualitative factors, where financial indicators create the basis for assessing economic efficiency, market metrics provide understanding of competitive position, and satisfaction indicators form a vision of long-term development prospects. The scientific novelty of the study lies in systematizing methods for assessing trade competitiveness, identifying the specifics of applying an integrative approach in the conditions of the Russian automotive retail, and developing a comprehensive model integrating financial, market, and consumer aspects of assessment. The practical significance of the work is determined by the possibility of applying the developed methodology for forming corporate strategies to increase competitiveness, designing competitive environment monitoring systems, and creating decision-making mechanisms based on comprehensive assessment of a trade organization's competitive position.
