This working paper, released by Associazione Culturale Eutopia in 2026, outlines an underlying architecture of translation applied across three specialist cultural domains. The document details ten specific postures intended as an internal reference for drafting proposals and building methodologies, which are shared publicly for anyone engaged in similar translation work. The text defines a methodology of translation as a device positioned between specialist knowledge and the public, designed to land knowledge without distortion. It posits three distinct sources of authority: meaning, which is determined by the scientific or specialist community through its own practices of evidence; message, which is crafted by communicators to build a form that lets meaning travel; and value, which is attributed by the audience who encounters and uses the knowledge. To manage these pillars, the architecture relies on a fourth role known as the coordinator. This figure acts as a custodian of boundaries and translates requests between the three domains, but retains no decision rights over the content itself. The methodology positions itself against the bureaucratization of culture, which it attributes to the structural capture of the coordinator role by political authorities. To diagnose structural leaks in this architecture, the authors map four specific failure modes: amplification, deflection, compliance, and conservation. The methodologies produced by this framework are conceptualized as a "slab," acting simultaneously as a Latourian device, a Wittgensteinian shared practice, and a written constitution distributing authority by source. The authors explicitly connect this framework to the theoretical supplies of Wittgenstein for the imperative voice, Latour for the operational form, Haraway for the political form of situated knowledge, and Dewey for the epistemology of valuation. Prioritizing iteration over validation, the framework uses audience response to continuously adapt the method rather than asking the public to confirm predefined success. The authors note that the methodologies have limits and state that the map of failure modes is expected to expand as the framework is applied in new domains outside of their current funding context
