Donbass infrastructure development projects

The article considers investment projects of Donbass and their significance for reconstruction and development of the region. Examples of some projects are given and a number of investment-attractive sectors of the economy of the region are considered. Presented the main programs of reconstruction of new regions of Russia at federal and regional levels. The main actors for development of key sectors of the economy of Donbass at the current stage, as well as the main platforms for formation and implementation of investment projects are considered. The importance of deep modernization and expansion of transport infrastructure as a key aspect of integration of historical regions of Russia into the global Russian network is presented, and the main ways of finding potential investors are reflected. Conclusions were drawn regarding the importance of investment projects for development of the Donetsk People’s Republic and their prospects. The proposal is a balanced development of small and medium-sized enterprises in terms of support and stimulation of creative industries, allowing starting business without significant investments compared with traditional branches of national economy.
