Abstract

Abstract With the developments in magnification and various armamentaria in dentistry, the hidden uniqueness of the pulp space can be appreciated and seen with ease. This case report witnesses a rare type incidence of a canal configuration of mesiobuccal root in female population of India in the maxillary first molar with five canals (MB1, MB2, MB3, DB, and P canals) using the Dental Operating Microscope magnification; two-dimensional and three-dimensional imaging techniques; and proper preparation, irrigation, and obturation protocols in an adolescent patient. This emphasizes not only the armamentarium for increased treatment efficiency but also the clinician’s knowledge of the anatomy of the canals and their configurations and their demographic variation in mesiobuccal roots with three canals.
