Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the satisfaction levels of international students studying in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The research was designed using a descriptive survey model. The population of the study consists of international students studying in TRNC during the 2021–2022 academic year, and the sample includes 354 students. Convenience sampling method was employed. Data were collected using the Student Satisfaction Scale developed by Karadağ and Yücel (2017). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 24, and frequency, percentage, and mean values were calculated.The findings indicate that the highest level of satisfaction was observed in the dimension of satisfaction with learning experience, while the lowest level of satisfaction was found in campus life satisfaction. In addition, a significant number of students reported problems related to transportation and housing costs.The results indicate that although the higher education sector in TRNC has a strong academic structure, there are still structural problems related to students’ living conditions. These findings highlight the need for evidence-based policy development aimed at improving student satisfaction.
