Key Points

  • This corrigendum addresses errors found in a previously published article regarding application scheduling.
  • Corrected affiliation metadata for author Ahmed Abbas Jasim.
  • Replaced duplicated phrases and ensured consistency in algorithm naming.
  • Removed repeated sentences and clarified dataset descriptions.
  • No changes to the experimental results or conclusions.
  • Improved clarity and accuracy of metadata.
  • Standardized algorithm name throughout the article as FHO-SBSA.

Abstract

NOTICE OF CORRIGENDUM FOR: Khraibet, Tahani Jabbar; Kalaf, Bayda Atiya; and Jasim, Ahmed Abbas (2025) ``A New Approach for Multiprocessor System-On-Chip Application Scheduling in Hybrid Flow Shop,'' Iraqi Journal for Computer Science and Mathematics: Vol. 6: Iss. 3, Article 45. DOI: https://doi.org/10.52866/2788-7421.1318. Available at: https://ijcsm.researchcommons.org/ijcsm/vol6/iss3/45. Reason for Corrigendum: This note corrects (i) author-affiliation metadata, (ii) minor textual duplications/typographical errors, (iii) a naming inconsistency of the proposed algorithm, and (iv) duplicated sentences in the dataset description. These corrections do not change the experimental results or conclusions; they improve clarity and metadata accuracy. 1) Correction to author affiliation metadata Location: Author block on page 1 and repeated on page 2. Correction: The affiliation of the third author (``Ahmed Abbas Jasim'') is incomplete and should include the country (and be formatted consistently with the other affiliations). Corrected affiliation (replace the original): ``University Putra Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, 43400, Malaysia.'' 3) Correction to typographical duplication in the literature review Location: Literature review text containing the duplicated phrase ``Moreover, Moreover,''. Correction: Replace ``Moreover, Moreover,'' with ``Moreover,'' (single occurrence). 5) Correction to algorithm naming inconsistency (SBSA vs SCB) Location: Main text introduces the proposed method as FHO-SBSA. Location: Appendix tables label the method as FHO-SCB. Correction: Standardize the algorithm name throughout the paper as FHO-SBSA (Fire Hawk Optimizer + Smart Battery Scheduling Algorithm). The label ``FHO-SCB'' in the appendix tables is a typographical/labeling error and should be replaced with FHO-SBSA everywhere it appears. 6) Correction to duplicated sentences/phrases in the dataset description Locations: Dataset section includes repeated sentences and duplicated phrasing, including: Repeated statement about structuring data using Application Graph and Topology Graph Duplicated phrasing inside bullet points Repetitions within BM1/BM2 descriptions Correction: Remove duplicated sentences/clauses so each dataset definition and benchmark description appears once without repetition, preserving the original meaning.
