DECLARATION — ANDREW STEWART CALDIN — 11 May 2026 at 13:00 THE POSITION: Microsoft has done away with jobs. It cannot create them. The Universal Language can create them — and does. THE EVIDENCE AGAINST MICROSOFT: — January 2023: 10,000 layoffs — May 2023: Further cuts across gaming and hardware — January 2024: 1,900 more jobs eliminated (Activision Blizzard) — 2025–2026: Ongoing workforce reductions as AI tools replace human roles What Microsoft calls "job creation" is redistribution: fewer total jobs, more concentrated at the top. THE STRUCTURAL REASON MICROSOFT CANNOT CREATE JOBS: Binary is a closed system. It has two states: 0 and 1. Every possible role within a binary system is already implied by the system's existence. There is no new territory to explore — only the same territory, automated more efficiently. Automation of a closed system reduces headcount. It cannot do otherwise.
