The article examines the peculiarities of the representation of the lexical-semantic field of “time” in Ivan Bunin’s work Cursed Days. The study analyzes linguistic means of expressing temporality, the functioning of time-related lexemes, their syntagmatic connections, and their artistic and stylistic role in the text. Special attention is paid to the symbolism of time, the opposition between the past and the present, as well as the relationship between temporal images and the emotional-evaluative system of the work. The research demonstrates that the category of time in Bunin’s творчество functions not only as a means of organizing narration, but also as an important instrument for conveying the author’s worldview and philosophical interpretation of historical reality.
