The influence of a functional additive and formation conditions on the properties of filter fibrous materials based on blends of polyphenylene sulfide and polypropylene was studied. It was shown that with increasing polypropylene content in the blend, the average fiber diameter increases. The presence of a dispersed additive contributes to a slight increase in fiber diameter, while additional heat treatment leads to an even greater increase. It was found that the introduction of a dispersed additive leads to an increase in the degree of material crystallinity, and changes in the physical and mechanical properties: sample shrinkage decreases and their rigidity increases.
