AI on the Front Porch is a plainspoken family education resource for helping skeptical, rural, faith-shaped, practical, or family-centered readers understand artificial intelligence without fear, hype, or blind trust. The resource frames AI as a careful working partner: not a human being, not a soul, not a moral authority, and not a replacement for family, faith, conscience, privacy, or responsibility. It includes a full community bridge paper, one-page family handout, prompt cards, truth-check ladder, privacy boundaries, family night walkthrough, personal letter, myths and reality section, AI Use Pledge, and an interactive JSX companion site. This is an educational resource and position paper, not a scientific study. It is designed to help families have better conversations about AI while keeping human responsibility at the center. Core boundary: AI can help, but it does not rule.
