Objective: Work-related musculoskeletal disorders are a major occupational health concern linked to poor posture and repetitive movements. The Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) tool is a widely used ergonomic tool for evaluating biomechanical risks, but its English origin requires adaptation for non-English speakers. This study aimed to translate the REBA tool into Turkish, culturally adapt it, and evaluate its validity and reliability. Material and Methods: This study was designed as an observational and methodological research. The translation and cultural adaptation followed Beaton et al. guidelines, including translation, expert review, and preliminary testing. For reliability testing, 2 experienced raters evaluated 60 images depicting various working postures from healthcare, wood, and automotive industries. Inter-rater reliability (agreement between different raters) and intra-rater reliability (consistency of the same rater over time) were assessed using Cohen's kappa (κ) coefficient. Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS version 30. Results: The Turkish REBA adaptation included linguistic refinements for clarity and usability. Expert feedback led to improvements in terminology and table structures. Inter-rater reliability varied, with weak agreement in ''neck'' (κ=-0.057) and moderate in ''load/force'' (κ=0.419). Intra-rater reliability was higher, especially for ''trunk'' (κ=0.943), ''legs'' (κ=0.769), and ''total REBA score'' (κ=0.835), confirming its strong applicability in ergonomic assessments. Conclusion: The Turkish REBA scale was found to be a valid and reliable tool for evaluating work-related musculoskeletal risks, although certain sections with low inter-rater agreement require improvement. The study highlights the importance of cultural adaptation for accuracy and effectiveness in ergonomic assessments.
