Study show electric fields control bandgap, and Z-scheme in ZnS/SnS 2 positive fields cause Type-II/I transitions. Optimal negative fields boost STH efficiency 1.8× (ZnS/SnS 2 ) and 3× (ZnSe/SnSe 2 ).
