The result indicates a significant upward trend in publication especially after 2019 indicating the growing academic and industry interest in the integration of AI technologies with the banking sector. The Asian countries notably India, China and Malaysia dominate the research output. Keyword analysis indicates the major research themes in the area such as Internet Banking, Fintech, e banking, trust, security, adoption and customer satisfaction and the co word analysis identified four major clusters that focus on the technological transformation in the banking sector through AI and fintech and the privacy and security concerns leading to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
