This article examines the effectiveness of measures implemented to develop small business in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the share of small business in GDP, its role in employment, as well as change trends and interrelations both at the national level and by regions, specifically the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions, and the city of Tashkent.
