Keynote presentation delivered at the Government–Industry–Academia Policy Trialogue 2025 (Asian Institute of Technology, Pathum Thani, Thailand, 28 November 2025). It explores how AI and the broader ecosystem of disruptive technologies act on human cognition — positioning AI as a cognitive partner rather than a conventional tool — and examines their transformational impact across business and society: the three-layer transformation of work (substitution, reconfiguration, creation), sector cases in marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, healthcare and education, and the resulting speed asymmetry between technology, markets and institutions. The accompanying policy brief develops these arguments in written form.
