European Heart Journal · case report. In one patient, simultaneous TAVI and EVAR was feasible: asymptomatic at 3 months. First report of simultaneous transcatheter aortic valve replacement, endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, and permanent pacemaker implantation after multi-vessel coronary stenting and left atrial appendage occlusion: 67 years old: A high-risk patient admitted with acute STEMI. Multiple serious conditions at once: Inferior-posterior STEMI, Severe aortic stenosis, 6 cm aneurysm, Chronic renal failure. Fully percutaneous, staged then simultaneous: Multi-vessel PCI → LAA occlusion → TAVI + EVAR, then PPM → Recovered well. Ronald K. Binder (Interventional cardiologist, University Hospital Zurich · University Hospital Zurich): “This is the first report of simultaneous TAVI, EVAR, and PPM implantation.” From their public comments on the paper Bottom line: Combined interventions can be considered in select high-risk elderly patients; larger trials needed.
