Key Points

  • The research aims to establish a cohesive model of physical reality based on a hierarchy of resonant dimensions.
  • Proposed a closed thermodynamic system described by the Hierarchical Resonance Model.
  • Utilized Wilson's renormalization group operator for dimension emergence.
  • Employed the KAM theorem to define the hierarchy scale using the golden ratio.
  • Derived equilibrium amplitude and gravitational constant through criticality conditions and symmetry considerations.
  • Formulated quantitative predictions consistent with observational data.
  • Established five quantitative predictions with three aligning closely with observed data.
  • Predicted a cluster power-law exponent τ ≈ 3.08 coinciding with observational values.
  • Calculated 1/f noise exponent α ≈ 1.92, matching observed figures.
  • Energy cycle prediction E_cycle = 11/(4φ²⁰)·Eₚ ≈ 2.2×10¹⁵ GeV aligns with Grand Unified Theory expectations.

Abstract

We propose a conceptual cosmological framework — the Hierarchical ResonanceModel (HRM) — in which physical reality is described as a closed thermodynamicsystem organized through a hierarchy of eleven resonant oscillatory levelscalled dimensions. Each dimension emerges as a collective state of the previousone via a coarse-graining operator formally identical to Wilson's real-spacerenormalization group operator. The hierarchy scale is uniquely determined by the golden ratio φ, which followsfrom the Kolmogorov–Arnold–Moser (KAM) theorem: among all irrational numbers, φ is maximally resistant to resonant destruction in Hamiltonian systems. Thesystem Lagrangian possesses D₁₁, U (1), and Z₁₁ symmetries, from which threeconservation laws follow by Noether's theorem. The single free parameter λ is eliminated by imposing self-organized criticality (SOC): λ = g²/v₁². The equilibrium amplitude η is then uniquely derived fromthe criticality condition: η = mₚ / (2φ¹⁰) ≈ 4. 96 × 10¹⁶ GeV which numerically coincides with the Grand Unified Theory (GUT) energy scale. The arrow of time emerges as a consequence of the chirality of the closed cycle, not as a postulate. The gravitational constant G is a derived quantity: G = ħc / (11η²). The model contains zero free parameters in Planck units and is fully determinedby two structural numbers: φ (from the KAM theorem) and 11 (from the 3+4+4dimensional hierarchy). Five quantitative predictions are formulated, three ofwhich are consistent with observational data: cluster power-law exponentτ ≈ 3. 08 (observed: 2. 9–3. 2), 1/f noise exponent α ≈ 1. 92 (observed: 1. 5–2. 0), and cycle energy Ecycle = 11/ (4φ²⁰) ·Eₚ ≈ 2. 2×10¹⁵ GeV (consistent withGUT-scale predictions). Keywords: theory of everything, renormalization group, self-organized criticality, thermodynamics, golden ratio, 11 dimensions, arrow of time, grand unification, aether.
