Abstract

地球化学是研究地球(含天体)及其子系统的化学组成、化学作用和化学演化的科学, 可为宜居星球探索、深地深空深海探测、资源能源开发和生态环境治理等研究领域提供关键理论基础和解决方案. 其纲领性科学问题是“如何定量化揭示地球(含天体)及其子系统的化学组成、化学作用及其演化机理?”. 本研究提出五个学科重点领域: (1) 地质年代学与地球化学示踪理论. 核心问题是研发技术方法, 理解地球化学示踪原理, 加强地球化学过程的定量模拟与预测; (2) 关键元素循环与分布. 重点是查明这些元素在地球各圈层中的分布规律, 揭示其迁移过程、耦合机制及其对重大地质事件和全球变化的响应与效应; (3) 地球化学过程与资源能源. 主要揭示元素成矿、油气成藏、水资源演变等的相关地球化学过程与机制; (4) 地球化学过程与生态环境健康. 阐明关键元素循环对生态系统功能的影响和调控作用, 构建人为活动与自然过程介导下的全健康相互作用体系; (5) 行星演化与生命起源. 研究行星和地球的形成与早期演化如何促成行星宜居性和生命起源, 也是深空探测的核心科学目标. 我国地球化学学科总体已达到或接近国际先进水平, 拥有众多国家和省部级科技平台, 为关键领域的创新发展奠定了良好基础.
