Key Points

  • This research aims to explore how electromagnetism's reading of mass creates a perceived mass hierarchy among fundamental particles.
  • Analyzed the Mercator projection of the Randall-Sundrum warped metric
  • Derived mass relations using the Gherghetta-Pomarol mass formula
  • Calculated the Koide and Cabibbo angles as parameters of the mass hierarchy
  • Performed a de-projection test to correct for Mercator distortion
  • Established that all particle masses collapse to the true mass of 0.511 MeV when corrected for distortion
  • Identified the Koide angle with high accuracy as relevant to mass readings
  • Demonstrated that the mass hierarchy is a projection artifact rather than a fundamental feature.

Abstract

The companion paper “The Dark Floor” 1 showed that gravity’s inability to resolve spoke identity produces the dark matter signal. This paper identifies the complementary error: electromagnetism’s reading of mass through the Mercator projection of the Randall-Sundrum warped metric. The Gherghetta-Pomarol mass formula m ∝ e^ (0. 5−c) kL is not a mass-generating mechanism but a conformal distortion — every particle has the same true mass (mₑ = 0. 511 MeV at the Mercator equator), and the 12-order-of-magnitude hierarchy from neutrino to top quark is a projection artifact. Mass itself is the d = 2 photon mode stretched across the dimensional fold structure of the brane; the Bessel eigenmodes that determine generational ratios are the topology of that stretching. We derive the Koide angle (θ = 2/9, 0. 02% accuracy) as the light floor’s intensity parameter, the Cabibbo angle (Vᵤs = 2/9, 0. 93%) as its mixing projection, and present the de-projection test: six fermion masses, when corrected for Mercator distortion using predicted c-addresses, all collapse to mₑ within 3%.
