Abstract

Objective: reduce energy consumption of drainage machines by optimizing repair and replacement schedules. Methods: a mathematical model was developed based on the analysis of energy consumption and working time utilization using mathematical analysis, set theory, and graphical visualization. Results: the model determines optimal maintenance or replacement schedules for machines, minimizing energy consumption. Conclusions: the efficiency of drainage production is increased by maintaining the fleet of machines in good technical condition, which implies reduced energy consumption while maximizing working time utilization
