This paper introduces the Resonance Narrative Protocol™ (RNP) as a formal, structure-scientific reference framework for describing how two narrative systems become structurally coupled within interpersonal space prior to meaning, interpretation, and communicative action. The term ‘protocol’ does not denote a procedure, sequence, or operational guideline, but a formal reference architecture for structural differentiation.Building on the Neuronarrative Continuum™ (NNC), the Resonance Narrative Protocol™ extends Neuronarrative Biology™ to the interpersonal level without introducing physiological-causal, psychological, or functional explanatory assumptions. Interpersonal resonance is not conceptualized as emotional experience, relationship, or communicative process, but as a formal field overlay of two narrative continua, describable in terms of axis relations, transition qualities, and density distributions. The framework distinguishes four analytically separable coupling states—Implicit Detection, Implicit Alignment, Resonant Patterning, and Narrative Encoding—which do not describe mechanisms, processes, or causal sequences, but statically distinguishable structural configurations within a shared relational field. The Resonance Narrative Protocol™ consistently separates resonance from emotion, relationship, and communication, and positions meaning as a subsequent narrative encoding of an already existing structural constellation. As a non-operative foundational contribution, the paper closes a central theoretical gap between intrapersonal narrative order and the formal structure of interpersonal encounter, and establishes a necessary social structural bridge within Neuronarrative Biology™.
