This article presents an engineering-based approach to the construction of the Egyptian pyramids, grounded in a new physical model proposed by engineer Ivashura. Within this framework, the processes of stone processing, transportation, and installation are analyzed from the perspective of physical and engineering constraints rather than mystical or symbolic interpretations. It is shown that a number of observed features — including the characteristics of granite processing, drilling traces, thin-walled stone artifacts, and the absence of typical signs of force-based installation — are difficult to reconcile with conventional construction methods. Using Ivashura’s theory, a logical and physical explanation of the principles that may have governed the construction of the pyramids is proposed. Based on an analysis of their form, material, and scale, a hypothesis is put forward that the pyramids may have served a protective function, comparable to specialized structures designed to survive short-term but catastrophic events.
