Entrepreneurial success is not determined solely by financial capital or market opportunities; it is significantly influenced by the behavioral traits of the founders. This study explores the personality characteristics, decision-making styles, risk-taking abilities, and resilience factors of successful start-up founders in India. Using a mixed-method approach, data were collected through structured surveys from 100 founders and in-depth interviews with 20 top-performing entrepreneurs across technology, retail, and service sectors. The study identifies key behavioral patterns that distinguish successful founders from less successful counterparts. The findings offer valuable insights for aspiring entrepreneurs, incubators, and policymakers aiming to foster a robust start-up ecosystem.
