ABSTRACT The obesity has become a global public health problem and is closely related to a variety of chronic diseases. Excepted for the clinical medicine, developing functional food with bioactive compounds such as polyphenols, terpenoids, stilbenoids, polysaccharides, saponins, and isothiocyanates, is more practical for preventing and treating obesity. In this guideline, the experimental protocol on the anti‐obesity activity screening of food bioactives on Caenorhabditis elegans was presented in detail.
