Aim of this study is a preliminary assessment of CDI-ophthalmological samplings, by using echo-enhancer, in a wide range of various pathologies. Our serie was made out by 15 patients affected by a range of ocular vascular disturbancies, such as hypertensive and low-tensive glaucoma, myopia, choroideal tumors and acute occlusive syndromes of central retinal vessels. All examined before and after intravenous administration of echo-enhancer, with Peak Velocity, Mean Average, and RI survey. We pointed, after the `blooming' phase, good detection of all retrobulbar vessels, even those previous undetectable. Furthermore, spectral data never showed themselves to be affected by enhancer, being quite completely similar than without. Finally, we never observed blood flow signals, in treated choroideal tumors. Echo-enhancer allowed us to achieve efficient samplings in all cases; unaffected velocity data; good prognostic evaluation in treated neoplasias; good recanalization assessment in acute occlusions.
