This study aimed to examine the effect of reading interactive storybooks on the aggression levels of preschool children. In the study, a quasi-experimental design, one of the quantitative research designs, was used. In the research, there are a total of 47 students attending a kindergarten affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, located in the center of Niğde. The groups were determined by random sampling method and formed the study group of the research. In the study, the "Aggression Tendency Scale for Children Aged 36-72 Months Old", in the fall semester of the 2014- 2015 academic year, and a personal information form were used as data collection tools. Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank test were used to determine the difference between variables. As a result of the research, it was found that reading interactive stories was effective on the aggression levels of preschool children. As a result of the research, it was found that reading interactive stories was effective on the aggression levels of preschool children. In the experimental group where interactive reading applications were made, a significant difference was found in the total aggression scores and the PATA, BYİS and ATO sub- dimensions. When the achievement scores of the experimental and control groups were examined, a significant difference was found in favor of the experimental group in the total aggression scores and the PATA and ATO subscales. According to the gender variable, the aggression scores of boys were higher than girls in both the experimental and control groups and there was a significant difference.
