Abstract

From 1990 to 2021, the number of prevalence and YLD for cataract increased by year, the age-standardized prevalence rate showed an upward trend, and the age-standardized YLD rate showed a downward trend in China. The burden of cataract was higher in females than that in males. With the increase of age, the burden of cataract was gradually increasing.
