Research Note 42 in the "Geometry of the Critical Line" programme. Paper 8 (Evidence 3) proposed that the rational approximants to the Dream Formula slope α = 2ln2/π control which prime-power contributions survive in the twisted trace. This note tests that claim computationally and finds a refinement: the continued fraction of α controls a Diophantine return envelope on the irrational torus, while prime-power trace contributions are controlled by the continued fractions of the prime-specific ratios log(p)/T, where T = 2π/ln2 is the torus period. The two selection mechanisms are complementary, not identical. The CF/DADA structure of α provides the generic near-return envelope. The prime-specific CFs of log(p)/T determine which repetition counts m give each prime an exceptional near-return. Evidence 3 is refined, not killed: the DADA lattice controls the return envelope, not the prime-power selection.
