This paper reports a practical example of a personal OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) method that uses only Excel web queries and Power Query functions to retrieve and analyze structured data from publicly available websites. As the target, we selected Jxiv, a domestic preprint server, and measured and analyzed the time required from submission to publication for all published papers (770 papers). It shows that hypothesis-driven research can be realized using only Excel without the need for special programming skills or paid tools. As a byproduct of the analysis, it was found that the achievement rate of Jxiv's publication policy of publishing within 48 hours has dropped from 35% in the first year of publication to less than 6% in 2026.
