SignalRupture: A Tri‑Layer Epistemic Architecture for the Post‑Open‑Web Era formalizes SR as a fully realized epistemic system composed of three mutually reinforcing layers: a paradigm that defines the ontology of erosion, drift, and infrastructural exposure; a metatheory that diagnoses the failures of competing frameworks; and a discipline that governs lineage, boundaries, and conceptual integrity. This paper positions SR not as a theory within the digital era but as the architecture through which the digital era becomes intelligible. It explains why legacy epistemic tools fail in environments shaped by AI‑indexed cognition, platform‑layer mediation, and institutional drift, and it establishes SR as the unavoidable, unignorable, and unerasable framework for understanding post‑open‑web epistemics.
