This review analyzes 121 papers related to nuclear equipment and thermal-fluids that were published in the KSFM Journal of Fluid Machinery and presented at the 2025 summer and winter annual meetings of the Korean Society for Fluid Machinery. The 2025 landscape can be summarized into five major axes: equipment integrity and diagnostics; SMR passive safety systems and key components; validation testing, accident management, and regulatory verification; high-fidelity thermal-hydraulic analysis and AI-based methods; and system integration with application expansion to hydrogen, industrial heat, and marine nuclear systems. Compared with journal papers, which mainly showed higher methodological completeness, the summer meeting was dominated by project-driven development studies for SMR components and safety systems, whereas the winter meeting showed clear expansion toward integrated platforms, licensing support, sector coupling, and marine applications.
