Diurnal Characteristics of the Island Wake Marine Atmospheric Boundary Layer Downstream of Barbados

This repository contains datasets used for analyses described in Hlywiak et al (in-revisions). Data includes 10-meter wind speed estimates from Synthetic Aperture Radar retrievals (RSAT, S1A, RCM*winds. nc), in-situ meteorological wind, temperature, and moisture tower data (npsₘetₜower. nc), observed in-situ wind, temperature, and moisture data from radiosondes released at Ragged Point (AscSoundingMAGPIE23RP. nc), and selected winds, temperature, and moisture model data from the U. S. Navy's Coupled Ocean Atmosphere Mesoscale Prediction System (COAMPS), presented as vertical profiles for comparison to the observed radiosondes (coampsᵢnterpolatedₛounding*. nc).
