Searching For The Parity Doublet of 229Pa Using Low Energy Gamma Spectroscopy At FRIB

This poster was presented by Aiden Boyer at the Midwest Cold Atom Workshop (MCAW) 2025 which took place at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on 2025-11-08. This year, I presented about our plans for a new project to search for a low-lying nuclear state in protactinium-229 by directly measuring the gamma emitted during the nuclear transition. Maggie Tseng, another graduate student in the group, created this poster with me and modified portions of it for their own poster about measuring this low-lying state through the emission of internally converted electrons instead.
