Scrub Typhus is one such disease. which is highly underdiagnosed due to its vague clinical presentation, low suspicion among the physicians and lack of diagnostic facilities in India; but is still one of the leading causes of death if left untreated. Patients usually present with an eschar which helps in the diagnosis however this case report mentions no sign of such eschar, making it a unique one. This disease can affect multiple organ systems primarily through vasculitis and perivascular inflammation followed by the bite of a larval mite. People of all age groups are susceptible to this disease, rising incidence among travellers to the endemic region. Patients present with MODS as the most severe complication of scrub typhus and succumb to the infection however, the following case report highlights how early medical intervention can actually save a person’s precious life
