This study aimed to examine the effects of managerial communication on organizational performance, focusing on the mediating role of employee job satisfaction in the education sector of West Guji Zone, Ethiopia. A mixed-methods approach was employed, utilizing a descriptive and explanatory design, with a sample size of 265 participants, including teaching staff and educational leaders. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results revealed a mean score of 3.00 for managerial communication, 2.71 for employee satisfaction, and 2.98 for organizational performance, indicating moderate perceptions among respondents. Significant relationships were found between managerial communication and employee satisfaction (p < 0.001) and between employee satisfaction and organizational performance (p < 0.001). Notably, employee satisfaction served as a partial mediator between managerial communication and organizational performance, with an indirect effect of 0.3329 (p < 0.001). The study concludes that enhancing managerial communication is crucial for improving employee satisfaction and organizational outcomes. Implications suggest that educational institutions should prioritize comprehensive communication strategies to foster a more engaged and productive workforce.
