This study investigates the impact of road geometry and temporal factors on the number of vehicles involved in traffic accidents using GIS-based analysis. The research focuses on identifying spatial and temporal patterns influencing accident severity, with particular attention to road characteristics and time-related variables. Statistical and spatial analysis methods are applied to accident data to evaluate their combined effect. The results highlight key factors contributing to multi-vehicle accidents and provide insights for improving traffic safety and infrastructure planning. This paper has been accepted for presentation at ISAG 2026. The final version will be published in the conference proceedings. This preprint is shared to facilitate early dissemination of the research results.
