Abstract Reconstructive bone scaffolds must restore load-bearing capacity, permit nutrients transport and vascularization, and provide mechanical cues that guide cell differentiation. We propose a multiscale biomechanical evaluation framework and integrate mechanobiological regulation into scaffold design pipelines. We outline how macro stability, meso transport, and micro mechanotransduction define osteogenic windows and inform scaffold design optimization. Incorporating patient-specific designs, data-driven analyses, and experimental validations, this pipeline provides a structured framework for designing biomechanically informed scaffold with potential relevance for future orthopedic applications.
