The voltage strength of the new energy AC collection grid framework based on grid-forming VSC-HVDC transmission is relatively weak. Grid-forming energy storage based on virtual synchronous control can provide voltage support for such systems. However, it is necessary to enhance its power response characteristics to balance the frequencies of itself and the grid-forming VSC-HVDC. This paper proposes an improved virtual synchronous control strategy suitable for grid-forming energy storage converters to be connected to the grid, which can improve the support ability of grid-forming energy storage for the voltage strength of the grid. Firstly, the principle of voltage intensity measurement of AC grid with voltage support provided by VSC is analyzed, and the influence of energy storage access on the grid is analyzed. Secondly, the model of energy storage is established, and the influence of control parameters on its response is analyzed. Then, based on the obtain ed response characteristics, an additional control strategy is added, and the influence of the new control parameters on the ene rgy storage response of the network and the range of parameter setting are analyzed. Finally, simulation verifies the effectivene ss of the proposed control strategy in enhancing the voltage strength of the grid through grid-forming energy storage.
